FAQ

Will it make the room dark?

Not with Clear, which lets through 86% of visible light. Tinted panels cut more light and heat, so choose by aspect and how much shade the customer wants.

Best tint for a hot west-facing window?

Platinum. It lets through the least heat of any tint (16%) and has the lowest solar heat gain coefficient (0.327).

How far can it project?

Up to 1600 mm from the wall. Larger projections need posts and are supplied as a patio cover.

Can it go over a sliding door?

Yes. Two arms are standard. A third arm can be added on wide spans where there is a solid fixing point, but it can't be fixed in the middle of a sliding door.

Can it cover a home battery or switchboard?

Yes. Lumaline keeps rain and direct sun off wall-mounted equipment. Check the equipment manufacturer's clearance requirements before installing.

How is it cleaned?

Rinse with a hose and wash with mild soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and solvents.

What warranty applies?

Laserlite warrants the panel against loss of light transmission for 5 years.
