When to recover an awning
Awning frames usually outlast their fabric. When the skin is faded, torn, mouldy or no longer matches a renovated home, a recover brings the awning back to new without replacing the hardware.
KC Shade makes replacement skins for all fabric awnings, including folding arm, straight drop, pivot arm, auto-lock arm and fixed awnings. Customers can keep the look they have or change it: swap canvas for acrylic, move to mesh for airflow and view, or choose PVC for weather protection.
A photo of the existing awning helps us confirm the style and condition before we cut. Recovers are made to the measurements supplied through BUZ, so careful measuring is the key to a good fit.
